We are currently looking for Associate Product Development Manager for our Columbus, MS facility.



Main Responsibilities:

  • This position will assist the Product Manager in various projects, including coordinating the revisions to existing products and implementing new products to meet the needs of our customers as well a manufacturing/distribution needs. They will support the sales effort by providing product information for the defined product categories.
  • Responsible for sustaining existing business with customers to determine the needs of the customer. Serve as key support contact person related to product technical support to customer and sales representatives of both customer and Microtek Medical.
  • Create, develop and manage time to market project plans to ensure time to market expectations and stage review milestones are met. They will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other operations functional teams, ensuring the samples, specifications and costing are accurate and complete in a timely manner for all new products.
  • Research competitive products to stay abreast of the market product mix worldwide. Researching new surgical techniques to support products and determine competitive products/prices.

Basic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Up to three years of related product management experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving occasional concrete variables in standardized situation.
